Radiologic Technician ARRT (X-ray and CT) or X-ray

One of our clients in the region has engaged us to help them recruit Radiologic Techs for their growing team. We have day and night shift openings for Diagnostic Techs and CT techs. This leading healthcare facility provides exceptional patient care and cutting-edge diagnostic services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong radiologic technology background, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and patient care. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technician, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality diagnostic images to aid in accurately diagnosing and treating patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Per physician orders and department protocols, perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopies.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging, providing clear instructions and answering questions or concerns.
  • Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues to appropriate personnel for maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images, assess results, and provide support for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and radiation protection measures to minimize exposure risks for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure or certification as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and imaging procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
