Currently, we are actively seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical Step-Down Unit (SDU). This is a fantastic opportunity for full-time employment during Night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.
About Us: Our Medical Surgical Step-Down Unit (SDU) comprises 13 beds and is dedicated to delivering top-tier care to our patients. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4, we ensure personalized attention and support throughout each patient's recovery journey. Our unit handles a diverse range of conditions, including respiratory failure with BiPAP, sepsis management, severe electrolyte imbalances, and post-surgery care for thoracotomies/VATS, wedge resections, vascular procedures, and more.

Job Description: As a Registered Nurse in our SDU, you'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week (totaling 36 hours), with shifts running from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including rotations for holidays and weekends. Candidates must hold either an Indiana Registered Nurse License or a Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 6 months of hire, but don't fret; we provide training and time to obtain certification after employment.
Requirements:
- Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
