Job Description:
As a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. You will collaborate with renowned cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-tier care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for Cath lab procedures, including obtaining informed consent, conducting pre-procedure assessments, and administering medications as prescribed.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, hemodynamic status, and electrocardiogram (ECG) readings during procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth procedural workflow and timely interventions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of evidence-based nursing protocols and best practices to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
  • Provide patient education and emotional support to individuals and their families, addressing concerns and promoting adherence to treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience in critical care, cardiac care, or interventional cardiology nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to recognize and respond to changes in patients' conditions promptly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
